Welcome to my portfolio! Explore a few of my projects to learn more about what I do and how I do it. My typical design style involves a learner-centered approach and backward mapping: beginning with the end in mind. Based on the audience, goal, and objectives of the learning experience, I align all activities and assessments with an appropriate learning theory and methodology while choosing an effective and accessible training modality. Course evaluation throughout the lifecycle of a project is essential. A.D.D.I.E., S.A.M., Universal Design for Learning (UDL) , Bloom's Taxonomy, Cognitive Load Theory, and the Kirkpatrick Model are just a few of the common design elements that I employ.
In addition to over 20 years of experience in education and training/learning and development in public, private, K-12, and higher ed sectors, I am proficient in using AI and various ed tech design tools such as Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, Vyond, Synthesia, and Camtasia.
